Windows / Fixed & Picture
Give the View More Room
No sash, no hardware, just glass and frame. Use fixed windows where the view matters more than the breeze, and pair them with operable windows where you need air.
Configure & Price
Pick a common size or enter your own opening. The price updates as you choose glass and finish. Custom orders arrive 8 to 10 weeks after your deposit clears.
Prices are for the example size on each card. We confirm the final price once we check the opening.
Where to Use Fixed Windows
A fixed window has no sash and no hardware, so it costs considerably less than an opening window of the same size. Put opening windows where you need air and fixed glass everywhere else.
Beside an opening window
The opening window brings in the air; the fixed glass carries the view.
Above a door or window
A transom adds daylight and height where no one reaches to open it.
High on a wall or a stairwell
Light where an opening window would be out of reach anyway.
Large view walls
Keep the biggest panes fixed. One opening window nearby is enough for air.
Every bedroom still needs one opening window large enough to climb out of.
Combine Fixed Glass with Opening Windows

Fixed + Casement
A wide view with air from the side

Fixed + Tilt-Turn
A large view with a window you can clean from inside

Joined at the Factory, Installed as One Piece
Combined units ship as one rigid assembly with a factory mullion between them. That means one unit to set, no joints to seal on site, and a straight line across the whole wall. The layout is set at the factory, so confirm it on the shop drawings before production.

Ratings and Drawings
NFRC ratings by glass package, tested sizes, frame dimensions and section drawings are in the Fixed & Picture brochure.
