Side-Hinged Windows for Everyday Ventilation
Our casements open with a lever handle instead of a crank and lock at several points around the sash. A handle-operated sash can be built larger than a crank can carry, so the window can fit the opening instead of the other way around.
Configure & Price
Pick a common size or enter your own opening. The price updates as you choose glass, finish and hinge side. Custom orders arrive 8 to 12 weeks after your deposit clears.
Prices are for the example size on each card. We confirm the final price once we check the opening.

Open with a Handle, Lock at Several Points
Turn the handle and the sash swings out from its hinge side. Turn it back and locking points around the frame pull the sash into its seals, so it closes tight on all four sides, not just one latch.
Where It Works Well

Beside fixed glass
For air without breaking up the view.

Bedrooms
The full sash swings clear for an emergency exit.

Kitchens
Over a counter, a lever handle is easier to reach than a crank.

Ratings and Drawings
NFRC ratings by glass package, tested sizes, frame dimensions and section drawings are in the Casement brochure.
Casement Questions
A crank operator limits how large the sash can be. The handle lets us build the sash bigger and lock it at several points.
Out, from the hinge side. Leave room outside if it sits over a walkway or deck.
Yes, at the right size. The whole sash swings clear, so a casement meets egress in a smaller opening than a hung window. Check your size with us before ordering.
